Where will FSP Institute events take place?

All Institute activities and events will take place at the Margaritaville Hotel Nashville.

Where do I pick up my registration material and name badge?

Registration will be open Sunday, February 7 from 5:00–7:30 p.m. Along with Registration, there will be a reception. (Your guest is also welcome to attend for an additional fee.)

What events can my guest/spouse attend?

Your guest can attend the Sunday reception, Monday reception and Tuesday dinner for an extra fee. Guests are not permitted to attend the classes, breakfasts, or lunches; they are for full paid attendees only.

How do I make my room reservation at the Margaritaville Hotel Nashville?

Reservations must be made no later than January 8, 2027 to receive the group rate. Reservations made after this date are subject to the hotel’s space and rate availability. Call 615-986-9300 and request the NAIFA group rate.

If I want to come early, can I still get the special room rate?

The room rate may be available for the 3 days before and after the FSP Institute, based on hotel availability. Because this is “high” season, we recommend that you book your hotel early to ensure availability

How many CE credits can I earn at the Institute?

You can earn up to 16 hours of accounting, CFP, Insurance, legal (please indicate your states during registration), and Professional Recertification (PRP) credit. Please refer to the CE Credit info tab on this site for regular updates on your state’s CE credit approvals. Be sure to bring your resident state insurance license number, CFP license number, or legal license number with you. To earn insurance credit, you must attend the entire program from Monday at 8:00 am until Wednesday at 12:00 pm.

What is the dress code for the meeting?

Business casual clothes selected for comfort and informality will be the rule during the FSP Institute. Because it is virtually impossible to have the room temperature perfect for every individual, please bring a sweater or light jacket with you to the classroom.

I have special dietary restrictions. What should I do?

Please indicate your request during registration. If you did not include your requirements, contact Barbie LaCasto at (703)770-8237 and tell her what you need. In order to give the resort enough time to prepare, please do this at least 2 weeks before the FSP Institute

I’m thinking of bringing 2 people from my study group with me. Can we get a discount?

If you are bringing a group of 2 or more people (including yourself) the entire group can receive a discount. See Registration Page for pricing. All participants must register together to qualify.

My company might like to be a sponsor—what is available?
