George Bain has built his life and career on the principles of service, integrity, and empowering others to move forward with confidence. His professional journey began with distinguished service in the Canadian Armed Forces (LR), followed by a career as a Calgary Police Officer.
In 1993, George transitioned to the United States and entered the mortgage industry, discovering a new way to serve by guiding individuals through one of life’s most significant financial decisions. In June 2019, he joined Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation, where he found his true calling as a Reverse Mortgage Planner. Today, George proudly serves as Vice President of Reverse Lending Initiatives, leading national outreach and educational programs designed to deepen understanding of reverse mortgage solutions for individuals aged 62 and older.
George’s responsibilities include mentoring mortgage originators, championing transparent and ethical lending practices, and delivering structured training programs for financial advisors. Through these programs—and personalized guidance—he equips advisors to confidently integrate reverse mortgages into comprehensive retirement strategies. Additionally, George conducts engaging “Lunch & Learn” sessions that foster collaboration and elevate professional knowledge.
His mission is clear: to empower financial advisors with the tools and insights needed to help clients achieve greater freedom, flexibility, and peace of mind in retirement. After a lifetime of hard work, George believes every individual deserves financial solutions that work just as hard for them.

Kathleen specializes in estate, business, and executive benefits planning, with special emphasis on incorporating and maximizing the benefits of life insurance. She is a nationally recognized speaker, author, and former adjunct professor in the LL.M. in Taxation program at the Washington University School of Law in St. Louis. Kathleen graduated from St. Louis University with degrees in Accounting and Theatre. She received her law degree and LL.M. in Taxation from Washington University’s School of Law. Beginning her Advanced Markets career at General American Life Insurance Company (later merged into MetLife), she provided training and advanced underwriting support for the top producers of MetLife and its subsidiaries for 10 years before returning to private practice. In 2007, Kathleen and her partners founded Affinity Law Group, LLC to provide legal services to businesses, their owners, and executives from formation to succession and beyond. She rose to the position of Managing Member prior to successfully combining the firm into Sandberg Phoenix, a firm of approximately 200 attorneys in eight offices with a nationwide practice. Kathleen is a member of the Missouri, Illinois, and Pennsylvania bars. She is a former national President of the Society of Financial Service Professionals. She has been an active member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) at the national and local level. Kathleen currently serves on NAIFA’s National Board of Trustees, the Executive Committee of the St. Louis Zoo Association Board, and the St. Louis Children’s Hospital Foundation Planned Giving Committee. She received the Accredited Estate Planner designation from the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils. She has presented at AALU, the Top of the Table Meeting for the Million Dollar Roundtable, and Estate Planning Councils around the country. Kathleen has been selected for inclusion in Missouri and Kansas SuperLawyers each year since 2012, and recognized by Best Lawyers in the areas of Business Organizations, Closely Held Companies and Family Businesses Law, and Trusts and Estates each year since 2020. Kathleen and her husband, Kip, reside in St. Louis, Missouri and Placida, Florida. They have two sons, James and Nat, and two very active pups, Tito and Mr. Peabody.

Spencer has devoted his entire career to the field of aging, directly from helping his family work through the declining health and death of his grandfather during his college years. He holds a Master of Science in Gerontology from Baylor University as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, also from Baylor. He has been a licensed Texas nursing facility administrator since 1996.
Prior to joining Family Tree Private Care, Spencer has held executive positions in a variety of settings: nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, independent living communities, and non-medical in-home provider services. He has specialized in helping families navigate the complex aging process.
He has been active in aging services associations at the state and national level, including the Aging Life Care Association®, and the San Antonio and South Texas Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. Spencer is also a musician, playing the piano from an early age and later studying the pipe organ. Additionally, he serves as a deacon at his local church. Spencer and his wife, Stephanie, who is a Baylor Law School graduate, have three children.

Bradley Hardin is a Series 65–licensed fiduciary and Registered Social Security Analyst (RSSA) who specializes in retirement income planning for pre-retirees and retirees. He is the co-founder of Hardin Retirement Solutions, where he helps clients integrate Social Security, pensions, investments, annuities, and insurance into coordinated retirement strategies. Bradley’s work focuses heavily on Social Security claiming analysis and helping families avoid costly, irreversible mistakes related to retirement timing and income decisions.
With a strong background in insurance and financial planning, he brings a practical, planning-first approach that emphasizes clarity, compliance, and long-term sustainability. Bradley is known for translating complex legislation, Trustees data, and policy changes into guidance that professionals and clients can easily understand. Jay Hatfield is CEO of Infrastructure Capital Advisors and is the portfolio manager of the InfraCap Equity Income Fund ETF (NYSE: ICAP), InfraCap MLP ETF (NYSE: AMZA), Virtus InfraCap U.S. Preferred Stock ETF (NYSE: PFFA), InfraCap REIT Preferred ETF (NYSE: PFFR) and a series of hedge funds. He leads the investment team and directs the company’s business development. Jay Hatfield is also portfolio manager for the Infrastructure Macro (Macro Fund) Income Fund, LP. In 2021 the Macro Fund received a top ten performance ranking award, in the long-equity biased category by BarclayHedge*. During his career, Mr. Hatfield has gained a broad perspective on the U.S. financial markets with years as an investment banker, a research director and portfolio manager, and as a co-founder of a NYSE-listed company. Prior to forming ICA, he partnered with senior energy industry executives to acquire several midstream MLPs.
These companies were merged to form a company now known as NGL Energy Partners, LP (NYSE: NGL). NGL went public in May 2011 and Mr. Hatfield is currently a general partner. In the years prior to forming NGL, Mr. Hatfield was a portfolio manager at SAC Capital (now Point72 Asset Management), running a portfolio focused on income securities. He joined SAC from Zimmer Lucas Partners, a hedge fund focused on energy and utility sectors, where he was head of fixed income research. Earlier in his career, he was head of an investment banking unit at CIBC/Oppenheimer and a Principal in investment banking at Morgan Stanley & Co.
He began his career as a CPA at Ernst & Young. Rachel McCrocklin serves as Chief Trust Officer of Eastern Point Trust Company, a licensed professional trust company and industry leader in Qualified Settlement Funds and Plaintiff Recovery Trusts. She is a nationally recognized educator and frequent CLE speaker on settlement taxation, fiduciary compliance, and advanced recovery planning strategies.

Steve Parrish is Professor of Practice and a Scholar in Residence at The American College of Financial Services. He was also recently an Adjunct Professor of Estate Planning and Interim Director of the Compliance and Risk Management at the Drake University Law School.
With over 45 years’ experience as an attorney and financial planner, Parrish is an expert on retirement, estate, and business owner succession planning. He is a recognized industry authority, spokesperson and author serving as a contributor for publications such as Forbes.com, Kiplinger and Rethinking65. He is a contributing author to the 2024 e-textbook Retirement Plans and Retirement Planning. and co-author of the 10th Edition of National Underwriter’s Tools & Techniques of Life Insurance Planning (2026). He was the 2023 winner of the Kenneth Black Jr. Journal Author Award and has written for the Journal of Financial Service Professionals (where he also an Associate Editor), Journal of Financial Planning and Hastings Business Law Journal.

Parrish was employed at The Principal Financial Group from February 1997 until June, 2015 when he began his academic career with The American College and Drake University Law School. Prior to that, he served as vice president, marketing services for Amerus Life Insurance Company. He began his career as an attorney and advanced sales director and subsequently became a financial planner in Atlanta. Steve received his B.A., Cum Laude, from Saint Olaf College and his Juris Doctor degree from the William Mitchell College of Law.
Cozy Wittman leads the education and partnerships for College Inside Track, an organization that helps families navigate the college process and find the right fit. She is considered a national subject-matter expert on late-stage college planning and trains financial professionals around the country on strategies they can use to better serve clients. In addition to being a featured speaker at financial services conferences and high schools, Cozy is a mom of 5 kids with very different goals for college so she is no stranger to the college search challenge.
